The first collaboration with fashion brand beautiful people.

Drawing on one of beautiful people’s core house codes, “OVER-ENGINEERING,” this collaboration proposes new value through the deliberate layering of functions and elements—pushing design beyond what is conventionally considered necessary.

Centered on the concept of OVER-ENGINEERING, this model is designed around the idea of functional accumulation: intentionally combining sunglasses with a colored-lens clip-on. While clip-ons are typically used to add sunglass functionality to optical frames, this design takes an intentionally excessive approach by layering sunglasses onto sunglasses.

By pairing a clip-on that differs in shape and size from the main frame, subtle misalignments of the rims and variations in lens density emerge. These visual nuances create a distinctive expression and a sense of depth, giving the eyewear a uniquely layered presence.

The set includes a glasses cord that can be worn like an accessory, along with an original eyewear case and cleaning cloth.
